For the second year in a row Dupli will be sending a team of volunteers to join ‘The Big Sleep’ in aid of The Bridge Homelessness to Hope Charity.

The Big Sleep 2023 will take place on Tuesday 28th March at the University of Leicester. Sleeping out for the night might be fun, but for many people this is an every night reality. The Bridge Homelessness To Hope is an outreach to the lost and lonely of Leicester, to the homeless and to those who just have nowhere and nobody to go to. By participating in this event, Tetenal are helping to support vital work, which includes providing:

  • A Breakfast and Lunch Service
  • Access to Hot Showers
  • Clothing and Toiletries
  • Washing and Drying Facilities
The Bridge Homelessness to Hope bring vital awareness to the issues faced by some of the most vulnerable people in our society and provide a wealth of support services to people who often find themselves with no one to turn to. Nobody aims to be homeless, but circumstances can often conspire to leave people in a situation they never dreamed they would be in. We’re pleased and proud to be able to support The Bridge charity.

UPDATE

Massive kudos to our brilliant team, and everyone else who took part in the event at The University of Leicester to raise awareness for homelessness and support the range of services The Bridge Homelessness to Hope provides to vulnerable members of the Leicester community. Thanks to your support and donations, we’ve raised our target amount and then some!

Morgan and Verity have shared their thoughts on the experience:

“I was initially apprehensive but determined to help raise awareness of the rising homelessness in my city. Despite feeling shocked and uncomfortable during the experience, I felt honoured to have taken part and achieved something with my colleagues.”

-Verity

“Taking part in the big sleep was an eye opener to the reality many homeless people face and hearing the statistics made me want raise awareness of this cause. It was a privilege to take part in raising money for a great cause. Even a small donation goes a long way.”

-Morgan
