Paranol S is an outstanding Film Developer based on p-Aminophenol with extremely high acutance and high emulsion speed yield. Compatible with Agfa Rodinal.
The abbreviation “S“ stands for the excellent sharpness of this developer. Ideally suited for low to medium speed B/W (black and white) negative films.
Paranol S is a one shot developer and should be mixed to the required volume from concentrate and water only immediately before the developing process.
Paranol S (0,25 litres conc), from Tetenal is an ideal alternative for Rodinal, a traditional developer from former Agfa company.

Application:
The dilution is 1+25 up to 1+50. Capacity: max. 25 films 135-36 per 0,25 litres conc. per film 135-36 a volume of 10 ml conc. is a good start value.
Example:
A film 135-36 shall be developed in a Paterson tank 300 ml. 0ne-shot processing at a dilution of 1+25.
11,54 ml conc. is the required mathematical volume, I would round to 12 ml conc. and mix with 288 ml of water. Developing times available in the table for dilution 1+25.
