Epson SureColor SC-P7500 Printer
The Epson SureColor SC-P7500 24" printer is the smaller sibling of the Epson SureColor SC P9500 44" large format printer.
The SC-P7500 offers high-quality reproduction and versatility across various applications, making it an ideal choice for photography, fine art production, packaging, and proofing businesses.
This printer is Epson's first colour, large-format printer to feature the newly developed UltraChrome Pro12 inkset with K3 technology for unparalleled colour accuracy and depth.
And the Epson SureColor SC-P7500 is fast!
Don't be fooled that increased quality means slower printing, which is far from it. In fact, compared to its predecessor, the Epson SC P7000, it's up to 3 times faster. It can print a 20" x 30" image in less than two minutes, depending on your quality settings.
Key Features:
- 24" wide-format printing
- Widest ever colour gamut with 99% Pantone coverage¹
- Black enhancement technology
- Dedicated matte & photo black channels
- 4.3" LCD configurable touch-screen panel
- Illuminated paper path to keep an eye on the print progress
- Advanced printhead with 300dpi resolution and 12 channels
- Colour measurement, checking and correction technologies
- Supports fine art papers, canvases, photo paper and more
- New protective print catcher and cut sheet media slot
The Epson SureColor SC P7500 is a game-changer for fine art production, professional photography printing, and packaging and contract proofing industries.
Want to know more? Ok, let's dig a little deeper.
Widest colour gamut - This printer is Epson's first 12-colour large-format printer to feature the newly developed UltraChrome Pro12 inkset with K3 technology. This technology outputs both black inks alongside vibrant orange, green and violet hues for unparalleled colour accuracy and depth.
Additionally, the advanced printhead uses up to 800 nozzles for each colour to produce accurate dot placement and eliminate misprints. Yes, you did read that right, 800!
Black enhancement technology sounds great, doesn't it? What does it really mean? Epson has cleverly integrated a special driver mode to improve black density and contrast, which really comes to the fore in gloss and metallic prints. In layperson's terms, the enhancement technology drapes a luxurious black overcoat on the shoulders of the existing black ink in your print.
There's even an added bonus in that the additional black utilises the light grey ink, so no additional optimiser ink channels are required, resulting in lower additional ink usage. However your prints are viewed, blacks will be denser with higher contrast and a 'wet' look.
Dedicated Matte & Photo Black Channels – one of the biggest criticisms of most printers which offer two types of black ink printing was the need to flush through the black ink channel to switch between Photo and Matte blacks. With two dedicated black ink channels, the need to do so has been eliminated, which means less wasted ink. Thank you, Epson!
Illuminated print path and paper handling – Adding a new internal printing light lets you spot any glitches or errors in your print much quicker than previously possible. The days of peering below the printer to see if you're actually printing the right job are long gone!
Another new feature is the Samtent Protective Cloth print catcher, which collects your media print side up, helping to avoid the danger of scratching the surface.
The sheet media handling has also been improved with a new top loading slot, which allows for a 'no bend' media pathway.
And that's a wrap!
